Gold and Caviar Hair Ingredients?

Gold and Caviar Hair Ingredients?

Working on the beauty desk at a celebrity/fashion magazine you’d think you would have heard, seen and experienced every type of product under the sun. So when the new products by Miriam Quevedo landed on our desk we had to look twice. Literally. Real Gold? And Caviar? And it’s not the fake stuff? Does it work? Ahlan! Live’s team were exploding with questions, giddy with the thought of using such luxe products on our hair. Armed with the Extreme Caviar Shampoo for Difficult Hair, the Extreme Caviar Intensive Anti-Aging Luxe Masque, and the Ultrabrilliant Sublime Gold Lotion we went off to road test the hair care range. And here are the results...
First test - The Shampoo and Conditioner. Is it really worth tossing our supermarket shampoo and conditioner set away for? Short answer, yes! If you can afford it. Long answer, even if it’s just to treat your hair and repair the damage caused by colouring, product build up and the Dubai water, these products are worth investing in. The Shampoo alone is made from coconut and olive oil to maintain and protect the hair strands. It also contains the protein Keratin known for taming frizzy and those annoying fly away bits. But the stand out product is Caviar designed to restore the hair’s natural glow.

This shampoo and conditioner is used in exactly the same manner as you should be using product normally. Put a 2cm sized portion in the plam or your hand and shampoo your scalp thoroughly, rinse and repeat if necessary. We found you didn't actually have to repeat this process because the product works the first time around. Next take a 2cm sized portion of the conditioner and apply from the nape of neck to the ends of your hair. Leave for 5 to 5 minutes depending on the degree of intense moisture you want. Even after day one of testing our hair with the products our manes instantly felt more moisturized and our curls more refined.

Second test – Ultrabrilliant The Sublime Gold Lotion. Using active ingredients including Gold Powder, Caviar, Bio Argan Oil which helps to regenerate cell growth and Vitamin E which is an essential source of hair nourishment, this spray and leave-in conditioner is a bottle of brilliance. The best bit is you can use the product on dry hair which makes styling ten times easier. Simply shake the bottle to release the gold particles from the bottom and spray lightly over the top of your hair working down to the ends. You’ll get a lovely golden sheen to your locks and your hair will soak up the richness of the ingredients.

So instead of swamping your hair in suds that don't work yet again, splash out on these hotter than hot right now hair care treatments. They come in a range for different hair types, textures and desired effects too.
Miriam Quevedo is available from Saks Fifth Avenue at Burjuman, Faces in Mall Of the Emirates, Beautybay at Oasis Centre and Iconic in Deira City Centre. The Extreme Caviar Difficult Hair Shampoo is Dhs105, Extreme Caviar Anti-Aging Masque Dhs185 and the Sublime Gold Ultrabrilliant is Dhs230.
